NYC has two of the most beautiful German Shepherds I have ever seen. One is K9 working at Grand Central with the police. he is strong ,dependable and very intelligent. Thousands of people walk by him some stop and say hello others just feel the K9 Power.
At Dog-Power I am always onthe lookout and appreciate a well trained dog. PetSafe has products to train dogs but this K9 dog was trained by the officer. GS are very loyal to there master and a owners. A GS is very loyal to them as well. I had one as a child and will always remember my female GS pulling me on my sled. in the snow. I am still loyal and will always love GS. These dogs are Both alert well muscled, intelligent, and dependable. These are traits of German Shepherds, they originated in Germany and breed in the 19th century by Max Von Stephanitz. These were the first dogs to help the blind.
Schumers’s Wine & Liquors has a beautiful GS as well.He is always resting on the floor in the shop. It is part of the shopping experience to say “hello “to the dog as wine and champagnes are purchased. I know these dogs do not need our DNA breed identification tests,they are pure. They dont need a petsafe fence,and training products because they are already trained. But they deserve to be mentioned as my favorite dogs. Each dog serving and helping. Yes one in a liquor store one in Grand Central but both so beautiful, strong and smart. I wonder if they ever met??? Liquor and Police…never.. !!..I think it would be a electric match…til tomorrow.
