I have used PetSafe Wireless Fence for 3 years now and it works wonderfully for my two dogs. Tips - start the dog on the fence when it's a puppy for best results and make sure the probes are touching the dog's skin.
Battery has long life as long as dog doesn't test the boundary very often, which will stop once dog has learned boundary.

best thing about this is it will keep my pet safe...he ran thru the 1st day but quikly turned around and came back to safe zone...also I like the "no wire" installation. The boundary changes day by day but as long as my dog knows not to go into the street I'll be happy. The worst thing is the charge doesn't last long. If my dog had to go out in the middle of the night, I have to put him on the runner.
